Simone Zulli

Simone focuses on substance advocacy, food and beverage sectors and agri-trade topics. His work includes support on (re-)approvals of plant protection products, fertilisers, trade and market access at EU level, as well as monitoring regulatory developments relevant to the horticulture, food and beverage sectors.​

Before joining Rud Pedersen, Simone worked in Brussels for The ONE Campaign as a Campaign Intern, supporting national and EU-level advocacy on global development and public financing. In this role, he contributed to research, campaign planning, and institutional outreach, gaining hands-on experience in political advocacy and stakeholder engagement.​

Simone holds a bachelor’s degree in Politics, Philosophy and Economics from LUISS University and a double master’s degree in Policies and Governance in Europe from King’s College London and LUISS Guido Carli, with a strong focus on European political economy, public policy, and EU strategic autonomy, including its implications for the EU internal market and EU law.​
