Simone Zulli

Simone focuses on substance advocacy, food and beverage sectors and agri-trade topics. His work includes support on (re-)approvals of plant protection products, fertilisers, trade and market access at EU level, as well as monitoring regulatory developments relevant to the horticulture, food and beverage sectors.
Before joining Rud Pedersen, Simone worked in Brussels for The ONE Campaign as a Campaign Intern, supporting national and EU-level advocacy on global development and public financing. In this role, he contributed to research, campaign planning, and institutional outreach, gaining hands-on experience in political advocacy and stakeholder engagement.
Simone holds a bachelor’s degree in Politics, Philosophy and Economics from LUISS University and a double master’s degree in Policies and Governance in Europe from King’s College London and LUISS Guido Carli, with a strong focus on European political economy, public policy, and EU strategic autonomy, including its implications for the EU internal market and EU law.
