Morten Rud Pedersen is the Founder, President, and CEO of Rud Pedersen, Europe’s foremost strategic public affairs firm. He founded the firm in 2003 to strengthen democratic policymaking by bringing business insight and political decision-making closer together across Europe.

Today, he leads more than 700 professionals across 20 offices in 19 European countries. Under his leadership, the firm advises global companies navigating the continent’s political, regulatory, and reputational landscape. From trade and economic security to climate and technology policy, he helps organisations understand how decisions are made in Brussels and European capitals, and how those decisions shape global markets.

Before founding the firm, Morten served for eight years as Managing Director of the European Trade Union Confederation in Brussels, advising at the highest levels of EU policymaking. He also served as Special Advisor to former Danish Social Democratic Party Leader Mogens Lykketoft.

The Group was named EMEA Public Affairs Consultancy of the Year (2023) and European Agency of the Year (2025). In 2025, he received the Individual Achievement SABRE Award for outstanding contribution to the industry.
